Melanie Meillard suffers a complex knee injury

This morning  the training in PyeongChang has been tough for Melanie Meillard. The 19-year-old skier from Hérémence (VS) suffered a complex left knee injury that included the rupture of the anterior cruciate ligament and of the external meniscus.


Melanie Meillard, who get her first World Cup podium at the City Event in Oslo, is forced to end her season.


Melanie Meillard will return to Zurich tomorrow night and more decision about the intervention will be taken in the next days.


Seven athletes at the Olympic Games in PyeongChang

Seven GPS Performance athletes are selected for the Olympic Games in South Korea!


We wish Loïc and Mélanie Meillard, Luca Aerni, Marta Bassino, Irene Curtoni, Etselle Alphand and Adrien Theaux best of luck in PyeongChang!

Congratulations to Marta Bassino for her second place in the Super Combined in Lenzerheide! She scored her best result in the World Cup's Circuit.

Melanie Meillard scored her best result in slalom finishing 4th at Lenzerheide. Thanks to her good results, she will be in the top 7 at the slalom in PyeongChang. Italy's Irene Curtoni also has a good race and finished 9th.

Camille Rast showed good skiing in giant slalom finishing 22nd. She wins important points in the World Cup which gives her confidence for the rest of his return to competition after her mononucleosis. Irene Curtoni is 16th, followed by Melanie Meillard who finished 17th.

Good race also from Loïc Meillard in the giant salom at Garmisch-Partenkrichen. He finished 10th.
